ABOUT US

Paul is an experienced Technical Advisor, trainer, and risk management specialist with a specific interest in Inclusion. He is an AMI Member and  MTBI Course Provider and Climbing for All Trainer. Over the last three years he has led the development of an inclusion program across a range of adventure activity settings in Ireland.

Paul is a highly experienced leader with knowledge and skills spanning strategic leadership, Social Work, Mountaineering Instruction and adventure therapy. He has 25 years Social Work and leadership experience overlaid with 35 years of mountaineering instruction. He has a strong background in campaigning on Social Justice issues having worked with local councils and given evidence to Stormont committees.

His previous experience has enabled him to develop a range of highly transferable leadership skills working with large teams involving decision making in highly complex environments, working with multi-disciplinary colleagues and partner agencies. He has extensive project management and community development skills in addition to safeguarding, risk management, data analysis, policy writing, public policy and media skills.
