An all Ireland EDI training plan

Yesterday I delivered my last Climbing for All training course of 2024. This year I have delivered inclusion training to the Climbing workforce throughout Ireland. As I walked into the climbing wall this week one of the coaches from a course I delivered a few weeks ago was writing their inclusion plan for next year. The following morning a group of adults with a disability were in the centre enjoying climbing. I've trained 52 coaches and volunteers this year from Cork to Derry, Dublin to West Mayo. I've also supported instructors, climbing walls and outdoor centres with planning, risk management and mentoring. Along the way I've heard 1st hand from children and parents who often said "I didn't think my child could do this" we changed perceptions and pushed boundaries and perhaps most importantly laughed together.
